Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of autojunket.com and Autojunket OSC (“the Service”), operated by Autojunket. By creating an account or paying for the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Autojunket helps you document vehicle maintenance, generate reliability reports, and build a transferable digital passport that increases the resale value of your vehicle. Pricing is at /passport.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
• One person per account. You may not share login credentials with others.

3. Payments & refunds

OSC plans are billed in advance via Stripe. Refund window: 14 days from purchase, no questions asked, provided you haven't exported a final OSC Transfer PDF. Email autojunket@gmail.com with your account email to request a refund. After 14 days, all sales are final.

Reliability reports are free. Autojunket OSC is a $9.99/month (or $79.99/year) subscription — cancel anytime; no refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload — photos, receipts, notes, etc. By uploading, you grant Autojunket a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store and display your content within the Service so we can show it back to you and to anyone you authorize via a buyer share link.

You promise that you have the right to upload everything you upload, that it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, and that it isn't illegal, defamatory, or harmful.

5. AI accuracy

Our AI receipt and fuel-photo scanners use third-party vision models. They are remarkably good but not perfect. Always review extracted data before saving. Autojunket is not liable for any mistakes in AI-extracted text — you are responsible for what you save.

6. Reliability reports & OwnerScore

Reliability ratings, predictive maintenance suggestions, OwnerScore, and CareScore are informational only and do not constitute a mechanical inspection or a guarantee of any vehicle's actual condition. Always have a vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic before purchase.

7. Acceptable use

You may not: (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, (b) attempt to access other users' data, (c) submit fraudulent payment info, (d) impersonate someone else, (e) use the Service to harass anyone, or (f) try to overwhelm our servers.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is.” We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, paid users will receive a prorated refund.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Autojunket's total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in good faith via email; if that fails, in the courts where Autojunket is based.

12. Changes

We'll post any material changes here with a new “Last updated” date and email registered users. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
